Paid £100 deposit twice and still haven't received it back

The location and the area where it is located.

The cleanliness was appalling. The sofa bed was with cockroaches and cob webs. The basin outlet was blocked and no enough toilet rolls, no bin liners and damaged hooks of the bin (on kitchen cabinet). Also the outdoor patio was not clean and no liners or cushions on the chair; just looked like the property left unattended for ages.

The caravan itself is GREAT! Two bedrooms with two single beds each, plus a double bedroom. The terrace. In the living room, a huge sofa and a fully equipped kitchen. NEST heating system. Clean, crisp sheets on the bed. Big TVs in the living room and the double bedroom. A great shower, too.

The place loses points on easily rectifiable - but important - things. We tried to call the landlord several times on the day; he only picked up on the 4th try, very late in the afternoon. A dodgy Internet connection. Stains on the sofa. Dull knives. A tiny chopping board. A dirty oven, inside of which we found a frying pan filthy with old fat/oil/something similar. Bbbbbrrrr One small towel - for three bedrooms with, possibly, 6 people?!

Good location. Easier to reach by bus from Edinburgh.

There draining of bathroom water is very slow, partly blocked Very poor internet. Host didn't answer the calls Initially it said towels will be provided. Later received a mail saying a charge will be applied

Location is amazing next to beach.

Who’s dealing with property, horrible person don’t even bother to reply back at all. No communication ones you book after you don’t get any information or help, When I checked in they don’t allow us to go in because they didn’t registered us or our car. So have to wait lot outside. After holidays really hard to get my deposit money back from them and no one reply back to me or answered me back if I get money back, 1st they said they don’t want to give my deposit back for no reason. So be careful if you book here. Better book from company website. no private like this had really stressful experienced 😣
