Nicky the host was fantastic; as was the breakfast selection. The bacon, sausage etc.. was amazing and all locally sourced. Definitely stay again!!

The location was absolutely amazing! Beautiful Grade 1 listed building with a lot of history and completely surrounded in amazing scenery. Nicky and Simon have a brilliant place here and make you feel very welcome! Big thanks to Nicky for being the best host of any hotel/B&B I have ever been to. Will definitely be back!

The location. Peaceful and very isolated

The lack of a TV in the room, the fact that the tea,coffee facilities were outside the room on the landing shared by all other guests. So if you wanted a brew in the night or early morning. You had to be dressed

"Good value and I will stay there again in the future."

Super breakfast, good choice of everything you could wish for. Comfortable surroundings, communal table creates better atmosphere and meet up with other guests.

Separate bathroom to bedroom. Inconvenient but I was the only one to use it. You need dressing gown and slippers, ideally. I had neither. It was a single room, and only for two nights.
