Shipwrecked Hostel

I loved the homey feeling of this place! The staff are incredibly nice and friendly, and the owner truly went above and beyond. I didn't realize that Sander plays pickleball until he offered to be my mixed doubles partner so I could join the open play at the local club. Even though it's just a 9-minute walk from the hostel, he actually drove me right to the courts! For a solo traveler, this is a wonderful place to stay because it makes you feel like you have a family around you. Of course, it's ideal for couples too. It's a close walk to the beach, or you can rent a bike to explore Uvita.

I was only unhappy about the fact that I could only stay for one day! To be honest, I cannot think of a single negative thing. It was a pleasant, short stay that made me want to remain much longer. It truly felt like home to me, and I definitely want to come back and stay longer next time.

Loved the vibe here! Really relaxed vibe. Wonderful location! Close to beaches and waterfalls and a super market but tucked away from the street. Kitchen had all the tools you could need. Showers were hot! Beds were comfy!

It advertised AC when in reality it's only the sleeping area that has AC, the rest of the hostel is open air. And even in the sleeping area the AC isn't turned on til about 8pm

L’intimité du dortoir très confortable, les sanitaires en plein air et la grande cuisine

Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. Auch die Duschen und Toiletten waren sauber. Im Dorm hat man viel Privatsphäre und eine Klimaanlage. Auch die Volunteers waren sehr nett. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Eines der besten Hostels in denen ich je übernachtet habe.
