Plumpton Barn

It was out of the way. Nice location

Very cold in the barn. Tapping in the bedroom so needed to sleep downstairs. Overly priced 180 for 1 night. Wouldn't be staying again. Maybe the bed and breakfast next door.

The location, closeness to the Eurotunnel and views out to the countryside

The decor was very dated and overall the rooms were quite run down. We weren't given any towels for showering and arrived late so didnt have time to ask. There is obvious need for some renovations but the location is superb for the Eurotunnel and the character of the building has huge potential.

Detached, private, quirky, quiet, spacious, basic but comfortable and lovingly restored historical country building.

Nothing really. We were pleasantly surprised. The cottage was more than we expected from the photos. Maybe a small bottle of milk in the fridge would be a nice addition!

Location good and host friendly

Thin duvets, lots of flies in all windows, old sofa and chair but not enough for all to sit down

Quait out of the way very quit location but only 10 mins to all local facilities.

Needs a little tlc to bring it up to high standard but suitable for our purposes. Would have been nice to have a table & chairs outside for the lovely sunny mornings.

The host, Tony was so nice and adjusted to show us the property though we reached a bit early. Very polite and helpful person. The English breakfast he made was superb. Yummy food 😋 by the great chef. 👍 Thanks a lot, Tony. Sorry, Maya, we missed seeing you. But surely next time.
