The Woodman Inn

easy check in, room very comfortable and clean. well lit, plenty tea and coffee. staff very polite, enough parking for the stay menu was good, good value for money, food was cooked to perfection. had to wait a bit for breakfast, that was the only downer, only myself waiting, 20 minutes. overall the pub and accommodation was very good, i think in summer, the place will be busy. definitely value for money

Not a lot

The fact that they told us they were doing food on New Years Eve so we booked it in advance. When we got there a member of staff told us they were closed on that day leaving us high and dry. We asked for our money back and luckily found somewhere we could stay for the original three days we'd booked in The Woodman. By the way the pub looked a bit shabby and definitely needs refurbishing.

It was quiet and detached from the pub part. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was tasty.

Wasnt many cold breakfast choices, the shower had poor pressure and temperature regulation.

We enjoyed the food and the accommodation, so much so that we have booked again for our work visit next week.
