If you are due to arrive after 21:00, if delayed for traffic reasons you must telephone the property to confirm your arrival time. The Sid Valley does not accept payments made by check or American Express card. Reception closes at 21:00. Guests are advised to book tables in the evening restaurant in advance only and this is subject to an additional charge. Please note, pets can only be accommodated in some rooms at the property, and there is a GBP 25 per day, per pet. Only small to medium dogs can be accommodated, and pets are only accommodated based on prior authorization from the property owners. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times at the property, and should not be allowed at the property on their own at any time. The owners of the property have a pet dog.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. "Beautiful Hotel"

Its a beautiful location in Devon, The hotel is in immaculate condition with very comfortable rooms. We didn't use the BBQ or swimming pool as it was raining which we were looking forward too but Unfortunaly nothing can be done about that!. it was a beautiful hotel. Disliked · nothing

One of the male staff I felt seemed rude to me. Whether it is because I am of a younger generation I am not sure but felt like I was being patronized which made me feel rather uncomfortable. The other member of staff was lovely and welcoming.

"Incredible hospitality, you must try the homemade plum bread!"

Our flight was delayed so we arrived after the restaurant closed. The owner and his wife made us welcome, even though they had closed for the night. They very kindly opened a bottle of wine and made us a wonderful dinner. Throughout the stay their hospitality was amazing. The owner would not let us walk to the bus stop, instead he very kindly drove us all the way to Sidmouth in his own car! They really could not have done more for us!
