Fabulous location with stunning views

Breakfast too early

Staff were great, room was on the top floor...so excellent view but no lift so could be a struggle if you have heavy bags to carry ...though the manager did offer to carry any. Location was good.. but be aware it is on top of a hill so whilst great look to out over the bay, and easy walk down the steps into town... it is a stiff walk back. We liked the place, had games and a pool table in a quiet room off the main reception. I also liked the fact that it was a local owner - not part of a chain.

Not much we didn't like about the place- although the Food was good it wasn't fabulous.

The hotel is in an amazing setting. The views over the harbour are incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had an amazing stay.

The decor is 'a little tired' and could do with a refresh.

The house was lovely and welcoming. I was there for work purposes so did not pay extra for a sea view which would have been lovely but I work for a charity so every penny counts. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately I found the breakfast overcooked and not very appetising at all. More choice for tea in the morning as Twinnings tea is not enjoyable.

Beautiful location, comfortable bed and helpful, friendly staff.

There isn’t a lift so you need to carry suitcases up big flights of stairs.
