Oakwood Hall Hotel

Beautiful old building and architecture. A lot of original furnishings in the main lobby, restaurant and upstairs.

Said in the property details that there was a restaurant, but this turned out to be closed. Said in the property details that a cooked breakfast was included, turned out to be a poor continental breakfast. Loose bathroom fixtures, cobwebs in the room and bathroom, cold tap was hot, tiny tv with no remote, no bar to buy a drink. Ended up ordering from Just Eat when I arrived, even that was rubbish.

The staff was excellent and the room was great the view from the windows over the countryside we're excellent will be going back soon.

There was nothing to dislike.

The welcome and check-in at reception on arrival. The lovely and cheery waitress who was there at breakfast. Accepted dogs. Lovely comfortable room. Location is walking distance from my friemds who live in Bingley. Next door to the park to walk the dog.

Limited choice at breakfast time. I would have liked to have porridge made with oat or almond milk. Fat free Greek yoghurt would have been good too.

The porter attending when we returned after out night out . Difficult to get what we requested as he wanted a long conversation? I didn't want to be rude , but it was difficult to get coffee & let my husband in to our room to use the bathroom??

The property was lovely old historic building was warm in the room. There was a lady who welcomed us and was very helpful. The room was clean. A little dated but as to be expected very quiet nice big car park good value for money

Room 1. The. Shower head hose was broken and the drain in the shower was dirty and blocked which need some attention and no door on shower the evening staff and the staff in morning was not very. Customer focused little bit ignorant. When I told them about the shower, they seem to not be bothered. Look on their face. Please note there is no bar facilities or restaurant facilities and only a continental breakfast which is basically toast jam cereals, coffee and tea and apple and orange juice which was okay I expected this so don’t expect to get an evening meal or a pint when you get there, apart from that, everything was good. I recommend you take some food with you because the shops are a couple of miles away if you wanna walk, but in a lovely area and would recommend if you’re aware of the problems above.

Friendly welcome to a super hall with many original features. On arriving they organised my taxi for the next day. All the things you need in the warm room, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Plenty of sockets for phone chargers ect and a decent size TV. Ensuite loo and shower with towels provided. Had a good night's sleep in the comfy bed, coming down to a good continental breakfast. Plenty of parking for those arriving by car.

Good size room. Lovely old building with beautiful features.

I knew the restaurant was closed. Could have done with the bar to be open.
