Oakwood Hall Hotel

Breakfast was limited due to the kitchen refurb but it was enough to set us up for the day and there was plenty of freshly brewed tea and coffee. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

There was an issue with the loo not flushing but the manager helped to get it sorted. The TV in the room was tiny, about 16", so be prepared if it's going to be a vital part of your stay.

Victorian house with lots of original features,large car park,room was comfortable.

Breakfast was continental and was very sparse and not much choice.

Poor heating. Room cold. Breakfast extremely basic.

The breakfast appeared to be the absolute minimum you could offer and get away with.

The room was cold, the hot water supply was barely warm, the mattress in room there in the bed nearest the window should have been disposed of long ago. It is lumpy with a prominent spring in the middle ff your back The in room tea and coffee supply was minimal. The absence of any kitchen in a hotel un believable, especially as your misleading website and brochure feature meals.

The lady on reception - Maurice? Was incredible, so helpful and went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be. The choice of food- Greek was exceptional.

It would have been nice to enjoy the garden with my evening cigar, however this was locked and there was no seating outside the front.
