Durrant House Hotel

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. Dinner was tasty with a good choice. The pool was an excellent surprise being opened early. Staff were very accommodating. It is an older building but that just adds to the charm. Location is fantastic for North Devon exploring.

Locate and the atmosphere

Well we eat and drunk a couple times in hotel but was something waiting as staff were doing 2/3 Jonathan the sometimes

It all seemed a little dated

Spacious room. Clean and comfortable. Great for what I needed. (Overnight stay). Good value for money.

Lack of natural light in the room. Would not want this room for an extended period .

The location, it’s close to the main A39 but also walking distance to both Westward Ho! and Bideford town. As I’ve reviewed previously it could do with a bit of tlc however it is still a great hotel with lovely staff.

Nothing to dislike.

Clean, pleasant helpful staff, good size bedroom.

Bed could have been a little more comfortable however it was a very hot few days which impacted on comfort.

Sweeming pool was lovely but the water was dirty kids enjoyed however was close down 7 pm

It was boiling hot , we got a toy fan , we couldn't manage to sleep l asked more fan from the reception they refused me, 2 a clock midnight we want to come back home as we was sweating and my additional child was screening becouse off the hot after 2 a clock midnight hardly we get one more fan .

I liked the overall feel of the hotel although it needed a little TLC

Car park was full at times and only 2 disabled parking spaces with a taxi parked in one overnight Light over dressing table in bedroom didn’t work Broken shower gel dispenser Bathroom not cleaned adequately
