Great location for wildlife. The whole place is geared to making sure you enjoy your visit. Remember it is a wildlife, not a beach resort.

I booked it while it was raining, and high water. Booked too early. But we were able to discover much and had a great time. The place is fantastic.

The location was beautiful, right next to the lagoon and river that floods during the rainy season. A great location for birding, and definitely recommend getting the boat birding tour that's offered. Food was great too. It's recommended to arrive from the North, rather than Upala, as the roads are better that way, although you can still travel slowly from the South with a high-clearance 4×4 vehicle when the roads are dry. Worth the trip, though; many unique birds are here and the surrounding lands. Bring a lot of cash beforehand.

Roads from Upala were rough. But this isn't the hotel's fault.

I love this place. It is for nature lovers and Andrea is a great great host to make sure you can immerse with nature!

Amazing locationfor bird watching and photography

Not being able to pay by card and knowing what the meals cost makes it quite difficult to budget. The local super market took cards, so I don’t see why this quite upmarket hotel can’t take cards, especially as there is no ATM available for miles.

Beautiful garden, great host and the homemade dinner was excellent. The bird watching on the wetlands and the river is just amazing.

Too bad Andrea did not host our tour himself. Although Jeffrey did really well in spotting and naming the animals, we missed out a bit on background information.
