With delayed flight, I arrived at the hotel at 11:20 PM! The owner's and his daughter were beyond kind and helpful. Everything appeared to be closed on my way in and to my fear that happened to be true. When I said, I haven't ate dinner yet, the owner's daughter SHOSANAM took on herself and walked me to a store hoping to find something suitable (I am vegetarian) which didn't work out. She found a small place which was closed but I don't know what she said to them in Uzbek but she was like you go to hotel I will have pumpkin soup and bread for you in 10 minutes. I know it doesn't sound much for dinner but in a pitch black night with everything closed this was beyond amazingggg. She was on the ball every time I needed something. Let me tell you this is my favourite part of solo travelling that you meet some very kind people who go out of their way to make things happen for your. The property is clean, in great location, and close to everything you would want in the old city, Love from Canada :)

Family run hotel. The best place to stay when visit Khiva! Very close to all places to visit within Ichan Kala. The hosts are very hospitable. The owner unfortunately does not speak English but you can communicate in Russian. The daughter speaks English and she mainly manages the reception. In total we spent three nights at the hotel - with a break for a trip to the Aral Sea organized by a local tourist office. A wonderful roof terrace with amazing view. We ordered a delicious dinner served on the terrace. Here we ate the best Plov during our entire stay in Uzbekistan. We highly recommend this place.

The breakfast was tasty, although it could be more varied (e.g. with fresh bread).

Perfect place to stay when visit Khiva! Homely feel and close to all places to visit within Ichan Kala. Owner of hotel and his family are very kind and welcoming. Owner of the hotel is an archeologist, he told us a lot of stories about the place and historical facts. Was very interesting to know. We also had the best plov cooked by his wife and daughter for us. Had a trip out of town to visit old fortresses in the middle of desert. This places are must to see when in Khiva! Overall it was a great experience for us and we would definitely recommend it to our friends! Thank you 🤗🙏
