Villa Atulya at Ocean's edge

Gorgeous villa, right by the beach. It’s not for swimming in but lovely to take a stroll. Staff were friendly, accommodating and even organised a little birthday cake for my partner which I really appreciated. Food was delicious, well prepared. We even spoke to the chef and got to say thank you for the yummy crab dish. Giant rooms, plenty of space and all round good atmosphere. Will happily return again

The pictures were not accurate because the resort is better than shown on the photos. Nice welcome, good staff and beautiful rooms. Sea very close but a fence divide the property from the beach. Good food. Nice swimming pool, simple but pleasant set up of the common areas.

This hotel is steeped in Sri Lankan history. It looks like an old colonial mansion equipped with antique furniture. All the rooms overlook a magnificent garden located just in front of the ocean... amazing. Our room, at the ground flour, was equipped with a canopy bed. There was a personnal garden and the bathroom was open to the external The personnal is very kind and attentive.

Only the wall socket in the bathroom, to connect the hairdryer, didn't work properly and some stains on bed linen
