"Wonderful view from a little bit worn wooden cabin"

7.0

The view from the room. Also, the staff were really great!

Worn place. It's not as good as in the pictures. Still good price-to value ratio.

"Cozy stay, friendly staff, clean rooms, poor breakfast"

7.0

The room itself was cozy and cute, beds were very comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean.

Breakfast was not really breakfast, lack of options. Just some simple bread with not many options to put on it, some cereal and some fruit. Overall a bit too simple.

"Haven in the treetops"

8.0

The amazing view and being on top of the town. Very quiet location. It was great to have a takeaway breakfast for early start. The cafe was a cool place to hang out and have a meal

The stairs, but happy to climb so we had the view 🙂

"Exceptional"

10.0

Such a welcoming reception!!! . . .the journey up to The Tree House is a challenging one on the legs and lungs- but it's "away" from the little hustle and bustle of an otherwise crowded Aguas Caliente that was sought after. . .so, it certainly was worth getting to the Haven that this Beautiful Lodge affords its visitors.

The stay was too short !!!

"Heard the neighbors have sex"

3.0

Location and ambiance

Super noisy, we heard people have sex in the other room (really loud, not just a little bit). it’s not very clean and the rooms are very light. The white thin curtains do very little.

"Stairs not in description on reservation platform."

2.0

Unfortunately I did not stay at this property. My goal with this review is to leave an honest opinion of my experience that does not include sleeping in the lodge. *There are many stairs to arrive to the entrance to the lodge. My best calculation would be 60-80 though I did not count them. It is not by any means a place that is easy to access, especially if you have any health issues. There is NO mention of these stairs on booking.com where I made my reservation. These stairs are shared by all the places surrounding them, both below and above the lodge. However, they are in big need of a good cleaning. There is both dried and fresh poop and a strong smell of urine from the bottom all the way to the lodge. There is trash and a full pack of cookies spilled on the steps also. While the steps do not “belong” to the lodge, it is the very first impression and this impression is of a stinky dirty place with very difficult access. *Upon arrival, we asked to use the restroom. We were offered a bathroom to use. The sink had black bits of mold in it and the toilet was also lacking in cleanliness. While I can forgive the toilet, the mold in the sink does not grow overnight. I used the bathroom in the morning and entered again in the afternoon to see if it had been cleaned. It had not. According to the ladies in reception, this bathroom belongs to the Restraunt called Tree House. Nevertheless, if the lodge is going to direct their guests to use this restroom, they should ensure it’s clean and presentable. *I never entered the room. Due to the stairs and condition of the bathroom we were given to use, first, I felt very uncomfortable staying here. And, second, my friend I am traveling with is unable to climb and descend the excessive number of poop/pee covered stairs multiple times a day due to her knee and asthma. *The ladies working in reception are very nice, but were unable to provide any solution. I feel like there was a lot of blame shifting for things that are linked directly to the lodge, but “not theirs”. They did not refund my money, even in part, and offered no other solution.
