"Life's a itch in Milford Sound"

Milford Sound is a beautiful place

The @#*& Sand Flys. I can understand paying a premium as there is no where else to stay but there could have been a little more effort to elevate the room a wee bit to help justify the hefty cost of staying in it, like a bath tube or a screen on the patio door so you can open the door for some fresh air and not let the 13,257 uninvited Sand flys in. Breakfast delivery was great though.

The view and location was beyond beautiful.

The smell in the bathroom reminds me of the urine smell in camp or park bathrooms.

Nearing the end of a 6 week tour of this beautiful and amazing country, this was the ultimate location of the trip and wow did it live up to expectations. Beautiful venue, very.special location and camper van facilities were superb, clean and well stocked. Treated ourselves to supper in Pio Pio restaurant which was just delicious with local wines. Loved it so much, booked the tasting menu the following night, which was intriguing and scrumptious with no knowledge of the what to expect. Can't recommend highly enough - a lot of fun, great service and pairing wines were local and delightful. A very long way from home, but wished we could have stayed longer and hopefully will visit again. Thanks to a great team.
