Montrose Watertower

Einfach alles - der Stil der Einrichtung (Holz), die geräumigen, sehr gemütlichen Zimmer, der Ausblick über Montrose und Umgebung. Dank unseres sehr netten Gastgebers war der Kühlschrank gut gefüllt; auch Getränke standen bereit. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir am liebsten drinnen geblieben wären. Auch unsere Hunde fühlten sich dort sofort ‚pudel‘wohl; allerdings dürfen sie nicht mit in die Schlafzimmer, die eine Etage höher liegen (was aber kein Problem war). Kurz: ein Traum 😊

Location was perfectly placed with shops within walking distance and walks over the golf course to the beach and a bird hide on the Basin. Absolutely everything you could want for breakfast already waiting in the large fridge and some in the freezer. Dag is a really interesting and nice guy with a good history, a man's man with his hobbies and toys! AND such generosity. The property is very querky and has been converted to maximise the space and surrounding views. Some reviews mention the stairs? (what would you expect from a 3nd & 4th floor in a water tower for goodness sake)! There is of course the optional outside lift ;-)

We had a great stay in the WaterTower , Dag made sure we had everything we needed. It was also really good to have such a secure outside space for our dogs. We highly recommend this as your base for a visit to Angus

Exceptional host, very spacious apartment, easy walk into town, warm and comfortable. Dag was an amazing host, making us feel extremely welcome and left us lots of food in the fridge to cover our breakfast and lunch. We are amazed at how much space there was with every amitity you could imagine.

Location was perfect for our stay. The accommodation was absolutely superb, it far exceeded our expectations. Lots of space and areas to relax. The host Dag and his beautiful dog Odin made us feel very welcome, supplying us with a very generous amount of food, drink and flowers on arrival. We didn't really need to leave the property. Views were wonderful and the beach a very short drive away..

There was nothing we disliked!

The Water Tower is such a different and interesting place to stay! Well stocked fridge and easy walking distance to Montrose town. Dag was very helpful and knowledgeable and made sure we were looked after, Odin the dog was lovely too!

Dag was the most amazing host. To get the opportunity to live in his incredible water tower creation was a privilege. The top duplex appartement was unique, warm and homely. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique space in Montrose or Angus and we will be definitely be back.
