Ratna Villa

The staff is very kind and helpful; The host gave us a floating breakfast one day.

Since it is in the middle of a kind of jungle, a lot of animals were entering the house. The toilet is opened, so we had a huuge lizard inside and animals like frogs, snails, cockroach. So if you are scared of them, I wouldn't advise this place. During the evening you hear/see them everywhere. The staff is nice, we called them to help and they removed the scarier ones...

Everything was pretty nice the staff and villa overall. Although the Villa wasn’t close to the main road , they give you a lift on a bike up to the villa, so was perfect.

outdated stinky and dirty facilities, almost everything in villa was disgusting - stinky and dirty kitchen, bathroom, dirty night lamps like from adams family, extremely poor lightning, net did not fit the contruction above bed so there are huge holes for moskitos to get in, crooked sagging flor, villas are literally falling apart, it requires general reconstruction/investment, it is 100% worse than on photos, the only plus is space

Excellent Villa and location

Some things need fixing and maintenance . Like lock was not working on the main door of our room and few lights were also not working . Other than this every thing was good .

The 2 villa’s with private pool are just gorgeous, the host will take you to the property, even when arriving late. She is very responsive to anything you might need. It’s very quiet and the rooms are clean. Lots of little cafe’s around and from the main road it is easy to get a taxi which costs about AU&5 to the Centre of Ubud.

Nothing really but I think for. 4 star property the kitchen pans, crockery and cutlery is very old and dated. The kettle doesn’t work and there just not the finishing touches such as complimentary tea/coffee, a guide with explanation on the area and things to do. The towels and bed linen are Bali clean. This property is not accessible by car, the host explained the address where her shop was but we arrived midnight so it was a bit of an adventure having to go on scooters with suitcases to the property. It is something to consider. However, the host gave us a complimentary scooter to go between the property and the main road to grab a taxi.
