Greenhead Hostel

L'emplacement. L'hôtellerie propose des bons breakfast et des repas de qualité. Le personnel est accueillant et efficace.

Le partage de toilettes sur notre palier. 7 personnes pour un point toilette, c'est vraiment juste. L'arrivée directement dans la salle de chaussures avec les odeurs n'est pas très accueillante.

The Hostel is just over the road opposite of the Hotel where you can get breakfast and a meal. There is a big comon room with a soccertable and a TV. The kitchen is clean and with everything you need.

The inner was to the room hast no window and was a little damp.

The hostel is great for staying at while walking the Hadrians Wall Path. We didn't use the kitchen facilities, as we ate at the Hotel (the hotel breakfast is quite good value at £15pp - you get a lot of food and coffee/juice). This hostel is not a luxury hotel but it's good value. 3 of us had a private room (with 2 single beds and one double bed) and a shared bathroom which was shared with 2 other rooms. There was another bathroom on the next floor which was useful when the bathroom on our floor was occupied. The water in the bathroom was nice and hot.

The cleaning could be better. There is gum on bed frame. Also, better to have a holder level for shampoo and body wash at the showers.

Clean and great value for money. Right on the Hadrians Wall path.

The facilities exceeded all of our expectations, we really loved the room, it was clean and almost like a hotel. We were warned the shower might be dodgy but it worked a charm for us!

It would be good if the vending machine accepted card, and the check-in process was a bit annoying as we were muddy and wet and had to walk through a restaurant of people to get to the bar. Other than that, no problems.
