The food at the Hotel was the best on my trip to hadrian wall very much fresh and homemade 3 courses for 28 pounds

Check-in leicht, Lage am Fluss, für eine Nacht ausreichend, großer Aufenthaltsraum

Enges Zimmer, TV mit wenig Empfang, insgesamt wirkt es etwas vernachlässigt, nur zum Übernachten völlig ok

It’s conveniently located for people hiking the Hadrians Wall Path

There was no one around to assist with any questions, cleaning, deal with other guest issues i.e. smoking in the kitchen

The food at Greenhead hotel

Been faced by 15 easten European men at the main entrance to the hostel, they were all smoking and had placed a brick at the main entrance and fire excit so any chance of feeling in a safe environment was totally erased. On more than four occasions, l found a man using the woman's shower and toilet room. Going down to the kitchen, there were 10 men preparing their lunch for the day, meeting their own needs, and making me feel very vulnerable as a female. I had placed an order for a packed lunch, and it was not ready. I really would not recommend anyone to stay at the Greenhead hostel until they sort their priorities out ether to accomadating eastern European men or to the person who wishes a bed for the night after a hard day's hiking. The 2 do not go together.
