Greenhead Hostel

Booking in is easy at the hotel with evening meals available if not using the good self-catering facilities of the hostel. Perfect stopover for both Pennine Way and Hadrians Wall walkers being a very short distance off both routes.

Het bed lag prima en was schoon. Er was een wasmachine. Grote keuken en woonkamer. Hier zelf geen gebruik van gemaakt.

De douche stroomde over wegens verstopping. De kamer zelf was niet echt schoon. In Greenhead zelf zijn geen supermarkten. Er was een automaat aanwezig in de woonkamer met wat snacks er in. Echter was de automaat voor meer dan de helft leeg en kon je ook geen drinken kopen.

Very well located

Checking in at the pub was ok and a friendly member of staff gave me the key, and that’s as far as it went, you just have to work everything out for yourself, at £81 a night it’s well over priced, there is nothing in the room apart from a bed, which would be ok if it was £30-£40 a night but £82 for a bed is a bit much

They let us in early, which was good and the room was sufficient but expensive for what it is and bathroom was share.

The shower needs MAJOR attention, it was basically a handheld shower and water temperature hard to control. The fan was loud.

Voorzieningen in de badkamer verouderd, dakraam met touw gerepareerd. Voor een hostel te hoge prijs voor de geboden kwaliteit.
