The 1964 Holiday bungalow

The place is good.But not so good.

Tore rooms are not good.

This place has a magical view. It’s perfectly peaceful and quiet. Cooking was excellent. The walks from the house through the tea fields were very nice. It’s close to Little Adam’s peak and Nine Arches. Super friendly staff and owner.

For some people it might be a bit too far from Ella city but we liked the solitude of it.

Love everything it has. Fell in love from the first visit. Hosts are really great and helpful.

The owner made us feel very welcome and cooked some amazing food up for a good price.

Lahiru is a great host, giving a lot of recommendations of things to do in Ella and with lots of tips. the room is simple but it works.

it is a bit far from the center. there are buses frequently but only until 18/18:30. so if you want to go back later to the hotel you always need to hire a tuk tuk

Best accommodation of our trip to Sri Lanka! We stayed here for three nights. The room was clean and spacious, and we loved spending time on the terrace, facing the view. The owner is available to give you all the information you need and he cooks very well! It is a little outside of Ella so you need to have a means of transport or have the budget for the tuk tuk but it is worth it!

We absolutely loved everything about our time here. The views are breathtaking, the food is really well-priced, and the best we've had in Sri Lanka! Lahiru and his team went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. He was helpful with booking tours, providing information about the area, and booking our buses to our next destination. The location is in a quiet part of Ella but also close to the city center and all main attractions.

Nothing we didn't like.

If you’re looking for a more laid back and relaxing time this is the place for you. It’s a little far out of town but we had our own tuktuk so didn’t mind the journey and its was well worth it to be out of the hustle and bustle of Ella. Really peaceful spot with really nice staff
