We had a fantastic stay, everything was perfectly organized and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They offered diverse activities which we really enjoyed. The restaurant offered a great breakfast as well as lunch and dinner options and they were all delicious.

The owners are great. We had a baggage delay and they helped the airlines to get our bags the next day. They set up all of our extra activities and they made sure we had hot drinks when we came back. They had the snow mobile excursion and it was the best of all of the extra activities. Staff went out of the way when we had a cold and needed extra attention.

Limited menu in the restaurant at night if you just want a light dinner. We are not big eaters at night.

Aurora Queen Igloos is perhaps the best accommodation we have ever stayed at. The night before we arrived, we were staying down the road at another hotel. The experience of the extraordinary hospitality at AQR started when Pasi offered to pick us up. When we arrived, we were greeted by Nina with a welcome drink with a "chill" style check in, in their exquisite "clubhouse". It is exactly what we imagined, a lodge in the middle of nowhere only the lodge was outfitted like a 7 star hotel. Nina had our activities already planned out for our three day visit and day 1 was to just chill out in our igloo. This was just what we needed. We wanted to make the most of this as the igloos are super high class. Beds are extremely comfortable, there are a couple of comfortable chairs and blankets/pillows etc to make sure you feel you are right at home....only better! Our second day started with a 5 star breakfast- freshly made eggs and the spread were only things we have seen at a brunch in a 5 star hotel. All fresh ingredients and very tasty. We went to dog sled in the morning and chase the northern lights in the evening. It was a perfect day as their staff were super knowledgable and also able to find the lights! They are even better in person! Our dinner this evening was in their "clubhouse" and again the food was top notch. We had the vegetarian option of cauliflower and also the reindeer. Our third day started with a 2 hour snowmobiling in the morning and a 2 hour snowshoeing in the afternoon. Again their staff, Anne Marie, is funny, knowledgeable and made the experience so authentic. We had dinner again that night with their curry and the fresh catch of the day- also both very tasty. The attention to detail is second to none. The decor, the food, the hospitality, the activities.....all made this holiday one of the best we have ever been on.
