Ardencote

Lovely location. The courtyard room we had was spacious and very comfortable. The facilities at the spa were excellent and the food very good. Staff throughout were friendly and very efficient. Would have no hesitation in staying again.

Clean and spacious rooms

No one at reception at arrival despite that I've notified the hotel of when I'm expecting to be there. Slightly dated decor

I liked the outdoor area. Lots of greenery.

The spa & swimming pool,definitely over subscribed. The treatments where overpriced & disappointing. I learnt from a member of staff that the hotel was closing for two years for refurbishment, I then realised why most of the staff id come into contact with didn't care about customer_service as they were loosing their jobs, which is sad but when you spend your hardworking money on a hotel & treatments you should receive what you pay for. If this hotel was staying open i wouldn't recommend it.

Arrived early evening, Brasserie was good. Room had hot water but the shower was a bit weak. More facilities than I expected - but I was unable to use them as I arrived too late.

Breakfast was somewhat sparse and coffee was poor.

Bar service - bar service - one staff for the start of the evening part of the wedding. Too long to get served
