It was quiet, overall clean, the staff was nice

There was a lot of false advertising . the Hilton Playa Del Carmen (sister property) is what they use to advertise there hotel for majority all details and the hotel is aware b/c when we brought it to the managers attention he laughed and said yeah that happens a lot .It’s supposed to be all inclusive but there was an up charge for Don Julio, Bacardi, etc( premium liquor), and it wasn’t mention in advertisement/website it says all liquor is included.The mini bar only included 1 beer, coke and sprite, and water which is fine but when I got to my room there was an open used water bottle in the fridge. The food options are LIMITED, website/advertisement says there’s 9 restaurants, there’s actually “4” restaurants at the hotel, 1 is a 24/h coffee stand, 1 is a roof top bar, 1 is supposed to be a Japanese hibachi dinner; the other 5 are at the sister property and you have to pay $75 per day per person for ANY access. On booking it’s advertised that access to sister property is included w/price, when we got there it was a $75/per person per day for access to sister property. The first night we stayed the water was cold, it was fixed the 2nd night and back to Luke warm the rest of the trip, the toilet kept clogging and it wasn’t the amount of tissue causing it. The A/C wouldn’t stay on all night, causing you to excessively sweat out pajamas and it was in Celsius. Learned on day 2 the housekeepers will skip your room and you will have to call down for new towels, robes, cover, sheets (b/c you sweated the ones from the night before our b/c the ac kept going off).

The hotel is lovely - the rooftop pool is absolutely amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The food menus are very limited. The air conditioner unit in my room made a lot of weird noises. I didn’t feel like I was getting my value for money from this stay.

Location was good. Nice to be by the main street (5th) but unfortunate that there was not beach access. That was not clear on their marketing material. Additionally, the pool was very small (although nice) and there were no hot tubs. Any reference to them was in regard to their sister property that was a $65 per person per day upgraded cost. Not necessarily a bad deal but a surprise. Ivan and Pricilla were especially great. As were the massage therapists - probably two of the best massages ever

More clarity on what was included in the main property and what was part of the upgraded property. Our room was loud - we were on the 5th street side and music and noise did not stop until 1:30 AM or later every night. Not too much of a problem for us but was for some in our group and they could not move to another room when they asked. Finally, very limited menu. Food was good but it was always the same and by the end of our stay it was too much. They should consider having both a standard menu and a menu that changes daily.

not enough food options for vegetarians

lovely pool, great staff who went above and beyond to help me have a good stay- I even got a free upgrade and Jonathan made sure I had a packed lunch for the airport when I left!! the pool was great although not deep. Food was lovely for a short stay. Loved it!

unfortunately due to the location the room was very noisy in the evenings until about 2.30am. this is due to the fact it is right in Playa Del Carmen where there are many pubs and clubs.

excellent meals, terrific staff and service, beautiful views from the rooftop restaurants and pool. the all inclusive package is really a good deal, considering how much you get and how little else you need beyond the hotel. meal times are very flexible which we appreciated and the cocktails were perfect.

slight smell of mold in the bedroom. but otherwise very comfortable and clean.
