Kasuari Valley Beach Resort

This hotel has not been maintained well and it was completely empty and isolated. We were worried about the safety of the walkways and of the freshness of food given there were no other quests. The room was very hot and the hotel overall did not look like it did in the pictures.

The place is terribly run down and dirty. Food was half decent but expensive for what it was. Service was pretty poor. Staff didn’t even bother to come to the table to take the food order. Also no alcohol on the menu. No access to the beach.

Time has not been kind to the resort. The maintenance has been neglected for a very long time, the AC in the first room turned on but did not cool. Changed rooms, second room there was some but very little relief. The staff was very kind, and attentive. Options at the restaurant were very limited (likely due to very low guest numbers). The facility had 'charm' and the gardens were being maintained, they were lovely. The location provided a great spot to view the sunset.

Poor quality (dangerous in places) of the boardwalk, poor AC in the rooms, lack of hot water, limited options for food.

Zwembad was ronduit smerig, onverantwoord om in het vieze water te zwemmen. De airco werkte niet optimaal, daardoor was het vochtig warm in de kamer. Restaurant verkocht eten dat klaar was gemaakt in oude olie en de soep smaakte naar afwaswater.

Should not be called a beach resort as there is not beach or beach access. Biggest let down was the maintenance and cleanliness of the place. The wall against the bed where your head goes was like tissue paper and I could hear cockroaches inside. There was rodent dropping on the bed and a dead fried gecko behind a wall switch.

Super friendly staff. Restaurant on the property was great! Beautiful property can’t beat the sunset view on the ocean. comfy bed and AC was great. Pool is equally as beautiful.

No hot water unfortunately so showered in the cold
