Wave Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

Fantastic hotel and stay! Visited at the end of September to October. Highly recommend the resort. The hotel was exceptionally clean with friendly staff, greeting you as you enter and exit the restaurant. The buffet restaurant was great, with lots of options and a small number of options for vegans. Oat, soya, and almond milks were available as well! Desserts were the best — they looked and tasted amazing! They are very generous with their drinks; at other all-inclusive hotels you generally get just a splash of alcohol, but here they have lots of options and good measures. Bottles of spirits and wine were laid out for lunch and dinner, both at the restaurant and the snack bar. The free minibar in the room, with water and juice, was replenished daily. The snack bar was brilliant — plenty of drinks, sweet treats, and sandwiches in the afternoon and evening. There are lots of different areas to sit by the pool; if you want a quiet area or an upbeat vibe, you have options. We went when the entertainment was slowing down (which they made us aware of before booking), but there were still options and most evenings featured two different acts. The best by far was Nick Michaels in the lobby bar — pure entertainment, getting everyone up dancing and creating a great evening. The spa is nice and the treatments were fantastic. Included in the room price was access to the indoor pools and sauna rooms, as well as free robe and towel hire. The indoor pool could be a bit noisy when children were in there, but I think that was because we had some cloudy days. There isn’t anything within walking distance nearby, except for the beach; however, the hotel has everything you’ll need. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Pomorie and fixed-price resort-branded taxis for other nearby towns — 40 Lev (just under £20) one way to Nessebar, which is highly recommended to visit. Overall, a lovely stay — relaxing days and entertaining evenings. You could see the effort everyone puts into the hotel: the chefs, bar staff, cleaners, entertainment team, reception, and concierge. First trip to Bulgaria and will definitely revisit!

Beach, Pool, Gym and Sauna. Everything that I was hoping for in a relaxing holiday. Friendly Staff and Ample good food. Situated far enough away from Pomorie for peace and quiet. I would definitely return for a mid September holiday. I am an early riser, an hours walk on the beach to watch the sun rise, back for 0730 breakfast, Laps in the Pool from 0900 til 1000. Steam room and Sauna for an hour or so. The Gym was well equipped for a treadmill session around 1600. Chilled water and Dr witt drinks. The room I had was 6321 with a side view of the sea, the balcony great for the afternoon sun, for relaxing and/or the clothes that where on the clothes horse drying. Be aware that there are no Bluetooth speakers allowed in the complex. Though the main thing to bring if you are English...... A FIRESTICK, 2m extension cable and eu adapter for English tele. Though the tele did have screen mirroring. I had one day of doing nothing in the 14 nights I was there, English tv was good. Would be good for children as well. I had the holiday that I wanted. I really hope that you find the same with The Wave Resort and it's Staff.

I can’t hide the fact that every time I’m here, I truly relax and feel at home. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, there is always an incredible variety of culinary delights. The food was always served hot—if not steaming. The snacks at the amphitheater are simply perfect – I couldn’t resist the chicken burgers and the döner kebabs. I also love the freshly prepared Asian dishes, which add a special touch to the experience. The service, as always, is outstanding. The housekeeping staff are exceptionally attentive and polite, and the room cleaning is of a very high standard – I have nothing to complain about. Special thanks to the Concierge team and the management – your care really makes a difference. Of course, there is always room for improvement, but none of this can spoil a holiday here. I’ve visited several other resorts, but I can confidently say that Wave Resort is my favorite. 💙🌊

Fantastic food with excellent selection at every meal. Drinks selection much better than at any other all inclusive. Spacious well equipped rooms. Very clean. Attentive staff. Lots of pools with great facilities for children. Weather big problem. Lovely for first week then cold and wind. Basically nothing to do! Don’t come in September.

We have just returned from a 1 week stay at this hotel, in a swim up room, all inclusive. The hotel building is stunning, and spotless clean. When the coach pulled up at the front of the hotel, the clear line of sight through the reception doors, through the building, over the outdoor pools at the back and out to sea mad us happy straight away! Check in was simple, with nice staff. Our room was amazing - bathroom (shower only), dressing area, sleeping area, lower living area with couch and then a massive sliding door revealing the terrace and pool. I was glad we were in the south slide of the building, as we had the sun on our terrace from around 1300hrs until sun set - giving us a little sanctuary away from other people and importantly, from the wind! Whereas being around the main pools were cold in the wind, our terrance was perfect. All other areas of the hotel are great - although we were there at the end of the season, so not as busy as in the summer. Food was great - all at the all inclusive restaurant and snack bars in the hotel (bistro) and the beach. The salad choices were amazing. Also, all food was labelled - important for me as my partner has a gluten allergy. I will add, some of the labels did concern me - for example, a noodle dish saying it didn’t contain gluten, where the noodles to me clearly did. So the labelling is good, but I didn’t trust it 100%. Which that caution, we were fine the entire trip - gluten free options were great, although there was not much options for gluten free deserts - mainly only fruit, with some ice cream some days. Drink selection was great, with beers, spirits and cocktails all in the menu - all premium brands. Outdoor pools and subbed are great - especially the adults only area and bio pool. All the outdoor areas are exposed to winds, some days I was there we were cold in the main pool areas. Nothing can be done about this and I’m sure it’s not an issue in the summer, but in September it is. Also, the lovely indoor pool and spa is great, apart from the fact it was full of children. I don’t understand why this area, which is a calming environment allows children inside who are jumping around, shouting and screaming playing games and taking up all the apiece in pool, jacuzzi and spa bath? I didn’t use this facility at all while I was there, and when I was speaking to other guests at the hotel they were also put off being in the spa. The other thing to consider with this hotel is the location. There is no towns or anywhere to go in walking distance. You can get a free shuttle bus to the local village, or a taxi to other towns, but you cannot walk anywhere. Me and my partner didn’t think this would be an issue, but after about 4 days we missed having the ability to walk to other places other than the hotel - especially on days where the wind was cold and sitting around the pool (or in the spa) wasn’t an option… Overall, this is an amazing hotel, with great food and service. Just make sure you understand you can’t walk anywhere, and if you want to relax in the spa, you’ll have to wait until all the children have left.

This hotel is fantastic, from moment we arrived everything was brilliant from service to drinks to food. Our room was amazing too... spacious, modern and beds are so comfortable. We also tried the Mediterranean restaurant which was lovely too and my glass was never empty. The pool areas are kept really nice and my little boy loved the foam party and kids disco. We also had treatment in the spa which was amazing also. We tried the free bus to pomorie was a nice little town and recommend for a few hours out. I also tried the mud bath and salt lake next to the hotel which was a good experience also. We will definitely be returning. Thank you wave resort

Just about to finish our holiday here. Can honestly say after 9 nights we honestly have no complaints at all. Food is good with loads of choice all day long. Literally 100s of sunbeds so no morning wars, loads of different pools from family friendly to adult only. Hotel does taxis to Nessabar, sunny beach and there is a free bus to pomorie. Nessabar is beautiful we went back on the evening for food which was lovely. Sunny beach is pretty much what you expect, Pomorie was a bit of let down as really nothing there. All in all for someone who doesn't ever really return to most places as there are too many places to visit I would definitely return.

Wave Resort in Pomorie is an absolute gem. The whole place makes a huge impression – a massive complex with stunning architecture, beautiful fountains, and amazing greenery (I’m obsessed with the pampas grass here 🪻). The pools and relaxation areas are on another level – there’s an adults-only zone with a jacuzzi, a heated pool with animations, a spa with saunas, and so much space that you can easily find either a quiet corner or a lively atmosphere, depending on what you’re in the mood for. The room? Honestly, the most beautiful one I’ve ever stayed in. Huge, with a central sea view, a giant panoramic window, and a freestanding bathtub right inside the room – waking up here every day was pure joy. Definitely my biggest “wow” of the whole stay. The food is insane – such a massive variety, from breakfast to the poolside snack bar. I loved the American-style serving of the snacks – hot dogs, corn, all neatly packed in little paper boats. And drinks? Beer and wine in the fridges, multiple bars around the resort. Pro tip: don’t miss the coffee-based cocktails – they’re the perfect afternoon pick-me-up and absolutely delicious. The staff is great – nothing over the top, but friendly, helpful, and professional. You can really feel that the management cares about their guests. Downsides? Honestly, hard to point out. The only thing I’d tweak is the printed materials – it would be nice to get a pretty, proper resort map instead of just a regular printer page, but that’s more of a detail than a real issue. Location-wise, the resort is kind of “in the middle of nowhere,” with only a salt lake nearby, but there are free shuttle buses to Pomorie, so that’s easy. And the hotel’s own beach is really nice too. Would I come back? Absolutely yes! I’ve already recommended it to friends and I’d happily return myself – maybe in high season next time to soak up even more sunshine 🌞.
