The premises and our room were very clean. The room was comfortable too. Garden was nicely maintained. Good hospitality. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was nice. I would like to suggest you to provide some area to read books while enjoying the view and maybe some umbrellas by the pool.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to enjoy peace and freedom away from the busy city life. The food was incredibly delicious, and every meal was enjoyable. The staff members were also very friendly, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. We truly had a wonderful time here and created unforgettable memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We recently spent a memorable family holiday at Tea & Experience, Mandaramnuwara, where our family of five stayed in the Peria Doré Room. The journey to the hotel was a mixed experience. While some sections of the road were well-maintained and carpeted, other stretches were in poor condition. However, once we arrived at around 3:30 p.m., the warm welcome quickly made us forget the challenging parts of the journey. We were greeted in traditional style, offered refreshing cold towels, and since it was tea time, we were immediately served a delightful afternoon tea consisting of three delicious snacks and a cup of fragrant cinnamon tea. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a lovely view overlooking the pool. We had heard comments about the thin walls before our visit, but fortunately, this was not an issue during our stay. Dinner was served à la carte, and every item we ordered was excellent. The quality, presentation, and taste of the food exceeded our expectations. Breakfast the next morning was also à la carte, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Western breakfast selection. After breakfast, we joined a tour of nearby waterfalls and viewpoints, which was a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of the area. What truly stood out throughout our stay was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The hotel has a cozy, family-oriented atmosphere that makes guests feel at home. Combined with the excellent food, beautiful surroundings, and warm hospitality, Tea & Experience provided a relaxing and enjoyable getaway for our family. We would happily recommend Tea & Experience to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the hills of Mandaramnuwara.

It was a wonderful experience. May not be very suitable for friends travelling together because we had to keep noise down which was difficult. The factory manager gave us a very good tour of the factory. The hotel manager was staff were very helpful.

We had a truly different and memorable stay at The Tea & Experience Factory by Thema. Being surrounded by the beautiful Kabaragala Estate and endless tea bushes made the entire experience feel peaceful and special. The tea factory experience they offer was amazing and very detailed. The person who explained everything was incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, which made the tour even more enjoyable and interesting. The rooms were lovely with a nice ambience, and overall the stay was very comfortable. The food was also very good and added to the pleasant experience. The only thing to be aware of is the road leading to the hotel. It is a narrow mountain road with some broken sections, so it requires a careful and experienced driver. If you are travelling by car, you need to be cautious, but if you are using an SUV, it should be much easier. Overall, it was a wonderful and unique stay, and a very special experience for anyone who loves nature and tea.
