Amazing location, 7-11 not so far away! Very comfortable bed and pillows)

It was a good location.

The facilities were poor and without lift. Washroom cleanliness needed to be improved. The room and furniture were old. Overall, it is still a good trip.

the hotel is located about 40 minutes outside of alishan recreation area, which means you won’t make it for sunrise unless you have your own car. that being said, there’s a couple of viewing platforms and trails within walking distance that are a great option for sunrise/sunset. it’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest “town” (aka 7/11) but there are a few little restaurants nearby to grab dinner or breakfast. if you’re planning to take a bus to/from alishan, there’s a stop conveniently located like right outside the hotel which is nice.

we came in december and the room didn’t have any temperature control, so the room was pretty cold and there wasn’t a ton of hot water for us to warm up with. we also saw a cockroach in the hallway right outside our room. there’s a restaurant downstairs, but when i asked if we could eat there the boss told me we couldn’t even though it was only about 5:30 and there were other people eating there.

I booked a room with Mountain View. It was totally worth it specially the bathtub which is placed towards the mountains. Great scenery to see while taking bath. Location was good, one hour away from alishan mountain. Hilife was down the road like 100-150 meters.

Walls are thin. Suggestion: please reusable containers for soaps and shampoos.

The room was very old, like 60s. Not update at all. However, i havee to give credit to the staff as we arrive late and they still let us check in. The location is great, around 1/3 way upto Alishan.

Need to update the facilities for everything.

The location was excellent, and the views from the rooms were fantastic.
