Tianyi Homestay

The room was pretty basic but clean and big enough. The location is amazing, right in the middle of tea plantations and close to many hikes you can do in the area. The host is super friendly; even if she speaks little english, she invited us and the other guests for a tea and a chat all together.

The owner is very friendly. He does not speak a lot of English but uses the translator so we can communicate with him easily. The place is in the middle of the tea plantation. He cultivate tea for r1 years and his tea is delicious, he can prepare some for you to try Oolong and Black tea. Lots of hike all around. If you don't have a car, he can drive you to a restaurant for diner.

Location and friendliness

Zulke vriendelijke eigenaren die alles eraan doen om je welkom te voelen. In de ochtend een heerlijk ontbijtje en de sfeer en de locatie zijn echt een aanrader als je houdt van authenticiteit, rust, echtheid en omringt door theeplantages.

The location had amazing views and super close to a cherry blossom viewing platform. The staff were incredible helpful despite the language barrier and constantly served hot tea from their own plantation. The host offered us maps or local trails and bus timetables for the local area and was event nice enough to drive us home from the nearby town. The house had multiple pets that were friendly.

Owners made me feel at home and had good knowledge of the area. Highly recommend staying here rather than in the Alishan Recreational Park as this was very calm and peaceful, especially if you get up early in the morning. The lady even drove me to get my train as the buses weren’t running at the correct time. Their pets are adorable!

Owners don’t speak much English at all, but still it is easy to communicate and it adds to the experience I think!

This homestay is about a 10 minute walk from the bus station in Shizhuo. The hosts are helpful and gave us good advice on what to do during our one day stay in the area. They even drove us to Fenqihu! I loved looking out the room window right onto the tea plantation.

Hôtesse nous a très bien accueilli avec les service de thé chaque soir. Nous avons passé des très beaux séjours entouré des montagnes et des champs de thé. Très beaux sentiers et les boutiques de Thé de qualité à proximité.

Lea horaires de bus compliqué et pas fréquents. Location de voiture conseillée sinon on attend le bus 🚌

A wonderful host! She escorted us to the beginning of a beautiful hike with cherry blossoms and fabulous views.
