Casa Menezes - A Heritage Goan Homestay

David was a wonderful host. The staff were very courteous. Great homemade food for breakfast. The house is a heritage indeed. Nicely done renovation without spoiling the heritage. Well maintained.

Such a wonderful stay ! David and his family are very welcoming and extremely helpful if you want to get around goa. The property is outstanding and very comfortable. Very relaxing and cleanliness maintained. Extre points for the delicious food served.

The house was amazing. Portuguese style villa, with cozy and ample accomodations, nice bathroom and very relaxing and silent room. With A/C unit, which comes in handy, TV and WIFI. Toiletries and towels, including dental sets etc. On the other side of the road the restaurant where you'll have breakfast or other meals if you want and ask in advance. The food was unbelievable and the staff did everything to please me at all times. David and Nicole, the hosts, helped me in every way. Planning my visits, food, even with a lost bag with the airline. They were incredible and I will for sure repeat my visit, also because of them.

The only thing I thing it could pose as a less attractive thing for the general traveler looking for the beach, would be its location. However, it is very close to all the tourist attractions in old Goa and around, so for me it was actually the best location.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Menezes in Goa, and I can't say enough good things about this charming place. From the moment we arrived, David, the owner, was incredibly hospitable and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. He not only made us feel right at home but also offered valuable recommendations on places to visit, making our trip even more enjoyable. The property itself is beautiful, meticulously clean, and well-maintained. It was clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the place in top shape. We were also delighted to have the company of two adorable little caretakers, Lulu and Phoebe, David’s dogs, who added an extra touch of warmth and love to our stay. David’s assistance didn’t stop there—he helped us rent bikes at a very reasonable rate of just 600 per day. He personally called the rental guy, Aloysus, who provided us with brand new bikes and even came to pick us up from Casa Menezes to take us to his shop for all the formalities. This level of personal care and attention truly made a difference. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and the coffee from their restaurant was exceptional—definitely something I’ll remember for a long time. The people on and around the property were also incredibly humble, kind, and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. A big thank you to David and his wonderful team for making our trip so memorable. We had an amazing experience, and we can’t wait to return!

It's a charming old Portuguese villa, very well maintained. The bathrooms are modern.... which is great. And everything is very clean. The host, David is friendly and very thoughtful... ensuring that everything we wanted was attended to promptly. Great experience overall... highly recommended for those looking for a Goan vibe beyond the beach

David and his staff were still available to guide us in, help us park our car and make us comfortable in our appointed room.
