Rochester's Place

Everything was exactly what we needed - clean, comfy and a very kind and lovely host. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Subway is very accessible and nearby, very easy to get into the city!

Location is very close to restaurants and stores.

Clinically clean and sweet friendly hosts. Always water, snacks, etc. at your disposal. Most importantly cold beers sold in the little store next door :) A/C in the room. A fan in the shared space. Variety of toiletries in the bathroom.

Bring earplugs if you stay facing the railroad.

This was such a nice place for solo travelers. I felt completely safe as a woman coming to the city alone. The owners were so nice and accommodating. I love how close this was to the train (around 5-6 min walk) and the corner store (which has really good food). Plus my room had a great A/C unit which keep me cool during the hot weekend. Also, the fridges were stocked with drinks and snacks. I would stay again if I was in the city. Thanks again! <3

Very welcoming and I was well looked after. Fully usable kitchen including big fridge,microwave,oven,stove and dish washer.

The room was tiny but that's New York for you, plus you're out most of the day anyway.
