JOIVY Old Town 1-Bed Apartment with Stunning Views

Very spacious, the location was amazing for a first time visitor wanting to see the sites - everything felt like it was around the corner. Check-in was simple and very detailed. I loved the view from the apartment.

I had to pay a damage fee waiver to be able to check in, windows aren’t winter appropriate so you could feel the winter air come through the seams/ cracks, surprisingly no smart tv for streaming, and the mattress wasn’t the best - felt like there was a dip in the center - I don’t know anything about mattresses so don’t come at me

The venue is very convenient. Near the Waverley station and walking distance to all Old Town and New Town. Staff were very responsive when we have issues. Amenities in the apartments good.

Heater wasnt working on our first 3 days. It was quite cold and uncomfortable. However they managed to rectify and with the heater running it was a much comfortable stay.

The apartment was just to my taste and styling. It was cosy, warm, and spacious. The location was perfect. I stayed for 4 nights and there was so much to see and do in Edinburgh. I simply had the best trip of my life in Edinburgh and the apartment gave me my own space and facilities to cater for myself when selected. Places I would recommend visiting and I would highly suggest prebooking entrance and eating out: Carlton Hill & cafe, The Dome restaurant, especially at Christmas, and all the stunning christmas decorations around the city, St Giles Cathedral, watch out for special events. I got to see an organ recital, most impressive, Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh National Gallery, Edinburgh National Museum, both are free (£5 donation recommend), The Royal Mile, Victoria Street, Ross Fountain, The Polar Ice Bar at Christmas, Badgers & Co restaurant, the fish and chips was divine, The Whisky tasting experience, I went for the gold option and enjoyed 5 whisky's also the whisky I found to be the most reasonable here. I'm sure I've forgot on something and there were more things and places I would like to do next time I'm in Edinburgh ❤️

The apartment is on the fourth floor through a door that doesn't look too inviting, but please don't let this put you off as the climb is worth the apartment and views. I would highly recommend staying here 🥰

Hello, During our stay in Edinburgh, we experienced very serious problems: • The heater only worked for a very short time and then stopped completely. The apartment was very cold, and I had to sleep in the cold with my son. Because of this, we both became sick and caught the flu. • The water did not heat up, so we could not take a shower. • There was constant loud noise from the neighboring apartment, and we could not sleep. • Cold air was coming in through the windows, and they could not be opened/closed properly. • The floor made noise while walking, and some areas of the house were very dusty. • The sofa bed was dirty, stained, and smelled bad. • At check-in, we had serious problems; we had to wait for 2 hours in the rain with my son before entering the apartment. I have documented all these issues with photos and videos. None of these problems were mentioned in your Booking listing. Under these conditions, I did not receive the service I paid for, and I request a full refund. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you.

La ubicación está muy bien, a metros de la Royal Mile. El departamento muy limpio y confortable, con excelentes vistas.

El departamento está en el cuarto piso y solo se accede por escalera, difícil para una persona con movilidad reducida (nunca lo supe hasta llegar) No pude encender la caldera y la contraseña de wifi no era válida y ante mi reclamo no obtuve respuesta

Großzügige Wohnfläche, ganz nett eingerichtet, alles hat funktioniert. Die Lage ist fantastisch… sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig.

Der Preis. Und die Küche war zwar perfekt mit allen Elektrogeräten ausgestattet. Aber die Küchenausstattung mit Geschirr war etwas sparsam, keine Teekanne, nur 2Teebecher … In einem Schrank etwas eingestaubte Dinge…
