"Excellent Accommodation in York"

The accommodation was excellent. It was comfortable and it was easy to cook. The location was attractive and within easy walking distance of a good supermarket as well as numerous sites in York. The messages from the owner were very welcoming.

The parking space assigned was too small for the car that the hire company provided us. I had to phone Stayz for help and an alternative space was found for us, albeit at a distance away.

"Nice place to stay"

We liked everything- location, cleanliness and price. It was very quiet apart from when binmen came at 6.30am on Tuesday morning! Very warm place so no heating required.

The accommodation was really nice but the only things we had any problem with were 1) it was very stuffy as the only ventilation was a rather small window. As you had a shower it appeared that 2) the bathroom fan didn’t seem to work and the windows steamed up. We had a fan which had no stand but this was sorted very quickly after a message to agent.

Excellent central location for York very secure & quiet & comfortable. Huge bonus with parking included. Our first time in York & impressed with the whole aspect of the town historically & plenty of restaurants, coffee shops & individual shops. Would highly recommend.

"Great location and perfect for short stay"

Location was perfect, near all sights and supermarkets. Great pillows and fresh sheets with fluffy towels. Lots of hot water available. Modern furniture and a smart tv. Perfect for a few days stay.

Very little space for hanging clothes, especially wet coats and shoes. Only one small saucepan so perfect for a few days stay but not for a week which we had. No cupboard space for food, as we prefer to cook in ,self catering, rather than eat out which becomes expensive. The cupboard holding crockery was very high so difficult to reach.

Great to have parking, and very convenient to walk into the city centre. The converted warehouse was in a quiet location and had everything we needed.

We could have done with an extra blanket as the duvet was thin for winter.
