16 John Walker House River Views, Parking and Lift

Wonderful location, within the city walls and right next to the river. It was very peaceful to sit on the balcony to have my morning cuppa. Short walking distance to the Shambles. Lovely and spacious apartment, equipped with everything you need. Really comfortable beds, lovely ensuite to master bedroom, very handy having 2 bathrooms.

Nothing! Looking forward to staying next year hopefully 😁

Was very spacious, clean and location was great .

Didn’t like the room with the two single beds . Very basic compared to the double room with en-suite and Tv .

Location was good. Parking on site was a real bonus. Two bathrooms. Balcony. Automatic plug in light were very useful when using the bathroom at night

Parking could be awkward for longer cars or taller vehicles. There were no instructions on how to use the pedestrian gate and only one key so you either all went out together or someone was locked in. The shower screen in the on suite bathroom needed cleaning as it's covered in limescale

Good location

Excellent location with plenty of restaurants on the doorstep. Easy walk into the city and felt secure with gate entry. The flat was bigger than we expected and very comfortable for 4 people. The balcony overlooking the river was a nice bonus. As we were 4 adults it was also good to have 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms were a good size. There is a lift but it doesn’t go to this flat. Just one flight of stairs, so not a problem. Good wifi. We would stay here again.

It would have been nice to have some hooks in the bathrooms for towels etc. We had door stops for lounge and main bedroom doors to prevent them from closing. Another for the other bedroom would be good as the door does make a noise when it closes.

Suited our needs perfectly, but would benefit from more cutlery.
