Location was great.

We were luckily staying only 1 evening. Pictures looked very nice. I made a mistake reading the reviews after getting to the property - all the bits that needed TLC were still exactly the same. Very bad humid/moldy smell. All the floorboards in bathroom were wet. You couldn’t open the windows because the property in lower ground level and both the main entrance and the window sills were very dirty. In the bathroom the toilet brush was broken and the bin was also broken. It would only be a fee quid to replace those.

Wish we stayed for more days - it was a home away from home! Excellent basement apartment, very deceiving from the outside but superb inside! Excellent bedrooms, bathrooms, hall area etc. Kitchen is further down a level but so well laid out equipped with all the necessary equipment and a coffee machine and pods thrown in for good measure! It was a hot day in July '25 but a desk fan helped in the bedroom. No parking space but that is mentioned in the description - parking is available at Manvers Car Park, 5 mins away. Close to the Roman Baths, the Abbey and Bath town itself.

Not a big issue but no clear TV reception just to hear the News at least!
