Trembling Madness Apartments

Very quirky apartment, 70's theme was fab. Location is absolutely brilliant!!! The stairs however, were ridiculously dangerous and my niece fell down them brushing her back and taking a chunk out of her elbow... And she was totally sober!!! I'd have been gutted to turn up with kids because I wouldn't have dared let the go upstairs!

We hired both apartments for a group of 9. Both apartments are fab, really unique and fun. Great location in the centre of York. Borge apartments were supplied with fruit and milk as well as tea and coffee and there’s a coffee machine with grinder and beans which is a nice touch. Staff were really helpful.

Minor things really but in the interests of helping the property managers: We didn’t have enough towels for all of us but it wasn’t a massive problem and I’m sure they would have supplied more if we’d asked, but we had bought some with us, so wasn’t necessary. The beds weren’t that comfy but ok for a couple of nights. We had given times for arrival for the car park but hadn’t been booked in and so the car was there for half an hour before the team sorted this for us, so we’re hoping we don’t get a ticket.

Fantastic but 3 of us fell over slipping on the rug upstairs. One got a very nasty bruise. It needs fastening down. The uneven floor can also be problematic.

The place was fun, the staff friendly and welcoming.

The single bed upstairs is meant for someone below 160cm tall.

The apartment was full of character, very comfortable and the staff were lovely and helpful. The location was brilliant and we had everything we needed.

The shower was a tad temperamental and tricky to use, the plumbing was definitely interesting!

Location and old vintage style living.

Bath and shower is bit complicated as water coming out when you shower but that’s how you feel old style house living so no negative point. Everything is gravity in central when you sit on sofa or chair, uneven floor give you pure difference of your living in old style house. Nice experience.
