Sandy bottoms

It was a nice apartment, clean, fresh bedding, comfy beds, perfect for a family of 4 like ours. In the kitchen was everything what you need to cook breakfast. Good size fridge and freezer. Contact with the host was great, very helpful :)

I can't say it was something that I didn't like but as the name Sandy Bottoms says it's a place without a sea view but the sea is just on the other side of the road so we were happy anyway. The back garden needs some attention but we didn't use it anyway. We would go back there happily.

Close location to the beach and close to restaurants.

I didn't like morning noises such as the sound of a vacuum cleaner, stomping feet and sounds from toilets. But I especially want to highlight this heating, I need to write every time to turn it on.

We love the property, our second stay! Spacious, private and good furnishings.

It was cold, no heating until 9pm which we weren’t told about. Fridge/freezer not working Ill equipped kitchen. WiFi awful Sky box not working. No tv channels except I player when WiFi actually worked! Reported all tithe above- nothing recified- left a day early.

This was our third stay and we'll stay again in the future. I've given details of improvements that could be made separately. The most important thing for other guests to establish before they arrive is when they will require the heating on, otherwise they will have to contact the hotel each day. Also check if the fridge freezer is working before putting anything frozen in it. We look forward to our next trip.

We were given the key code before arrival. We went to reception and a lovely young man showed us to the apartment. He also advised us where to park. Staff were really helpful with great communication. I would recommend this apartment and definitely stay here again.

Very good value for 4 people. Close to the seafront. Comfortable beds. Good sized rooms. Warm once the heating was fixed.

Despite booking well in advance of our stay the apartment was disappointingly dirty. The apartment definitely didn't match up to the photos. Bathroom sink plug was stuck, so a plumber had ti come out to fix it. The central heating wouldn't come on, so the owner had to come to amend to it. The cooker extractor didn't work. The microwave had food stains on the inside. There was one tea towel and 1 dirty and old washing up cloth. The blinds in the main bedroom didn't cover the window and they were stained brow. Skirting boards were very dusty and even dirty in parts. There are missing tiles in the bathroom. The front of the apartment entrance is full of old rubbish and the door and windows are filthy. The shower hose was dirty. Old duvet and other stuff thrown under the stairs. On the day of departure we we were phoned at 10:16am to see what time we were leaving., we got back at 10:25 and three people were in the flat!! ........I hope the owner learns from this review as he seemed nice enough but we won't be staying there in the future.

It was freezing cold. I asked the owner to sort the heating out on Friday when we arrived. She said she’d do it the following morning, but didn’t. It was warmer outside! The plug n the bathroom wasn’t working and wouldn’t let the water drain away. Absolutely disgusting. The blinds in the main bedroom were filthy and there was scaffolding at the window which we should have been told about.

It was very difficult to find a way in as there is no sign posting the garage and garden was very scruffy and messy. Wasn’t told about the scaffolding either until booked and paid for so no sea view and very dingy inside with no natural light. The bed and breakfast upstairs was very noisy from 7am every morning and doors to upstairs where not soundproofed so could hear all the guests talking

The apartment was spacious beds comfortable plenty of storage drawers/wardrobes everything was in the property towels cutlery, bit off a walk to the town center but was a lovely walk down the front.

Poor signal, couldn’t get the TV channels on, got Netflix on but screen kept going out of focus, didn’t know about scaffolding untill after I booked but didn’t mind that, was dirty behind drawer in living room hairs & a club orange wrapper, very noisy early morning think from the hotel next door cutlery & plates noises and people walking about in the room upstairs, Think there is only one door blocked off from the apartment to the hotel kitchen next door, Did say it was sound proofed but it wasn’t.
