Location. Flat was spacious.

Property ad was misleading - no sea view, no garden view (was a wasteland), no natural light to rear of property. The owner downplayed works on site - was advised of scaffolding to front, but continually disturbed by workmen, drilling and loud banging. Property was cleaned to an average standard - dirty waste bins, freezer, dusty skirtings, and dirty toilet brush, and mould growth on sealant on bath/shower The main bed is uncomfortable, and the mattress sunken. We would have benefitted from extra towels and a tea towel. Some issues were raised, but there was a general lack of response from property/owner until we raised a formal complaint. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I note some of these things have been raised in previous reviews, but sadly no attempt to rectify them

Beds very comfortable once over the base as this is raised above the mattress. Large rooms.

Appearance outside when entering the property. Overgrown weeds - door and windows covered in cobwebs. Kitchen bin left with other peoples food spillages on the lid. Bathroom needs a thorough clean and water does not drain so stood in dirty water when taking a shower. Silverfish problem. Oven dirty and not been cleaned so did not use this. Fridge and kitchen worktop left with food, hair and spillages. Have taken photographs and uploaded them as this is not true to pictures and not worth £200 a night. Very disappointed. Did not report any of this during our stay as we didn't want anyone coming into the property during our visit, also txt and emailed over check in without a response from anyone. Got key code on the morning of our arrival.

Adjoining door to hotel could be a little noisy as noise travelled down into the flat

Spacious and close to seafront with easy parking. Nice and quiet area but easy for walking into town centre.

Needs good tidy up outside as nice inside but outside doesn’t look appealing.

Nice location on the promenade

Dirty. The property had not been cleaned properly. We had to clean the bath before use because it was so grubby. The sink and fridge were filthy and there were crumbs and dust everywhere. The wall in the main bedroom was soaking wet with damp and the paint was peeling off because of this. Rubbish from previous guests was left outside the door for the duration of our stay. Things that you'd expect to be provided in a holiday stay like sponges, tea towels or washing up liquid were not provided. There was a single dirty teaspoon in the drawer in a flat for 4 people? We've left you with some more from the shop! Many of the plates and bowls had clearly just been wiped clean with a dirty cloth, the tablet was still in the dishwasher so you obviously hadn't run it properly and just put everything back in the cupboards.

It was cold at night and they put the heating on for us when we asked.

The matras on the double bed was not thick enough, the frame of the bed was higher than the matras.

Recliners comfortable, flat modern

No notice of building works at time of booking. No refunds so Cancellation was not an option. Window blocked off, room cold, no way to adjust temperature. Our only entrance was via a cluttered unsightly area with an overflowing dumpster and strewn rubbish. No seal on shower screen - leaked. No anti slip or handrail in bath, bath drain clogged so therefore soap remained on bath surface - slippy. Towel rail dangerous, boiling. Very noisy fan and tap. Noise from upstairs showers and running water. Dirty kitchen broken pedal bin (interior). Workmen on site during day preventing toddler from midday naps. We put several belongings we did not need in the porch and then discovered that the key could not be removed in lock position on exit so porch was left unlocked while out. Security comprised, did not feel safe with just digital lock when out during day/evening. Thin mattress meant the base surround caused difficulty getting in and out of bed. Poor fitting internal doors; we had to keep volume down low on tv so as not to wake baby. Dangling external alarm box clacking all night long hitting down pipe in the wind keeping us awake. Regardless of all problems it was a bright and airy flat and could have great potential

Location was very good and the flat was delightful, light and attractive and very clean. Very well equipped kitchen, apart from one or two items that I mentioned to the owner in a note. Lovely to have a dishwasher.

The garden needs attention as it lets the property down, perhaps this will be dealt with when the renovation of the adjoining hotel is finished.
