Cosy 2 Bedroom Flat in Edinburgh

Location is reasonably close to the central area and Waverly station. Response from the host was prompt. In general, Edinburgh is a beautiful place and happy to visit again.

The property does not have a lift, only a narrow staircase, difficult to climb with the luggage. The area is not properly lit and inconvenient due to no common area lights. Bathroom is congested and does not have exhaust fan. Keeping a shower near the WC is preferable.

climbing the stairs with suitcases is difficult and older people should be cautioned. The building shared area (staircase) has a bad odour, fortunately the smell does not come into the apartment.

The location was amazing. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket and pubs as well as being walking distance to the old town. The apartment was furnished nicely and everything provided for a comfortable stay. I loved it and would highly recommend.

Street parking only. We were lucky and found a park close by though. Stairs were quite steep and not easy if you are elderly or frail.

We had an amazing stay. Flat was well equipped and had everything we needed. Clean, spacious and super comfy beds. Views from bedroom were beautiful and we were lucky to have gorgeous sunshine. Great location and an easy walk to Princes Street - took around 25 mins but you can catch a bus nearby if you want to. The hosts communication was excellent and they gave us a lot of useful information about the local area. Highly recommended ❤️

Location was great - everything we needed in close proximity. The Bell Inn Pub up the road certainly a highlight! The flat was lovely and had everything we needed although the couch so comfy it was difficult to get off! Made for a very nice stay

Shower wasn't my favourite but it certainly wouldn't put me off staying again.

The flat was really cosy and filled with tasteful, colourful ornaments, paintings which made staying there very enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing. Kitchen equipment and some basics (like flour, tea, rice, various kinds of coffee etc.) were all provided, similar to soft towels, shower gel and shampoo. The beds were the softest we've ever had a chance of sleeping in (the pillows were great too). The flat is located relatively close to the city centre (2 kms) but removed from the bustle of it, in a peaceful part of Edinburgh (with a few pubs, restaurants and cafés serving tasty British pastries and food). There are bus lines going to the city centre on a regular basis for people who are not so keen on walking. Overall, we've had an incredible time at Leo and Ela's place and fell in love with Edinburgh as well.
