Double bed very uncomfortable/ finishing of refurbishment not great / WiFi awful

Spacious, good location had everything we needed for a short break! Was a mixup with travel cot we had paid for, I rang the host and they were lovely and they had that sorted right away 😊

Cleanliness was pretty poor, lots of cobwebs and dust, mirrors hadn’t been cleaned, plates in cupboard had dried food on. Area around front could do with being paved as not very accessible for buggy’s/wheelchairs. Blue water mains coming from ground out front of property was also a trip hazard.

- cleanliness, the property was not clean to a good standard. When we arrived at 9.30pm/10pm all of the windows had been left open, which we didn’t see in the dark. Inside the property looked ok on arrival and bedding seemed clean. However, the following morning we noticed the standard of cleaning was poor. Cutlery was dirty, dead flies on the bathroom window sill, laminated floor clearly hasn’t been mopped, cobwebs. Kitchen door was disgusting, photo attached.

It was the second time myself and my son stayed at this apartment and was very happy with everything again.

It smelt of damp, lots of rubbish outside where we parked the car, lots of little black flies in lounge, and bathroom all dead and flying around.

Location was close to the Pleasure Beach & there was a reserved parking space at the rear of property available at an extra cost per day.

FLY INVESTATION...DAMP...SMELL...CLEANLINESS. The apartment had an extremely bad smell of damp. The apartment had what can only be described as an infestation of tiny flies in every room. We spent £8 on 2 bottles of fly spray to try to rectify this and managed to kill a few hundred but not a dent on the total amount of them. They were even under the duvet in the bunk beds!!! We slept in our clothes and shoes on top of the beds and didn't even attempt a shower in the bathroom as it was covered in flies, both dead and alive. We felt itchy and grubby and couldn't wait to get out of the apartment & on to our next destination. We booked one night, thankfully, as if it were more, we would have had to seek an alternative place to eat wash & sleep. There were cobwebs in every room, even hanging at eye level above the cooker. There is no way the cleaner could miss them! The cleanliness of the bathroom and the apartment were extremely poor. Dirt all over floors and down sides of sofa with rotten grapes under sofa cushions in sitting room. We also noted a number of woodlice on the carpet in the main bedroom during the night. The cleaner clearly makes no effort between bookings, and this seriously needs to be looked at and inspected by owners. The apartment looks like it has originally had money spent on it and could be bimproved, but as all previous reviews say, there are major issues here that need addressed but they are being either ignored or denied when highlighted in reviews. The area the apartment is in is very run down in general. However, the location is good. Outside the rear of the property, it looks like a dump with weeds and leaking drain & waste pipe from the apartment above. The Bedframe in the main bedroom is broken, and slots fall through to the floor as it has not been built properly. Also TV in bedroom is unusable as back bedroom recieves no signal.
