Walmgate Cottage

De location bevindt zich echt in het centrum. Je zit op loopafstand van leuke eettenten, kleine winkeltjes en kroegjes. Echt een cottage waarin alles cute en scheef is.

Met de stad komt ook het stadsgeluid binnen als je slaap met open ramen (vanwege de warmte)

Location. Apart from that nothing. There was an issue with the plumbing. Took a number of days to resolve. Sewer stench in the kitchen. No showers during a heatwave. Deemed an inconvenience when we contacted York Stays.

We liked everything. Well appointed and very clean. Loads of character and in a great location

Perfect location for exploring York City. The property was lovely, once you got used to none of the floors being level but that made it very quirky.

The property is looking a bit tired and would benefit from some maintenance, ceiling in the lounge, paintwork throughout. The outside was shabby and in need of a good clean up. It would benefit from new mugs and glasses as there wouldn’t be enough for a family of four. There is a ridge between the landing and the bathroom which, when it’s dark you can trip up. If these things were sorted this would definitely be a 5 star property.

Great spot for a weekend away in York with friends. Close walk to everything in town and a well equipped kitchen.

The location was excellent, literally had all the shops, amenities and attractions on the door step. The cottage is very quirky and welcoming from the first time you walk in, each room has character and charm.
