Walkers Retreat with garden and views

Cosy, clean and comfortable, a great base from which to explore Dartmoor.

Very clean place, well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely views and very friendly and responsive host. Good wifi and lots of recommendations for places to walk, eat etc. We had horrible weather for some of our stay and Samantha recommended some great indoor things to do in rainy days.

We arrived in the dark and it was a bit hard to find but it was completely my fault. Samantha had given us very clear instructions, but there was absolutely no reception in the area, and couldn't access the app to read. Also the bed was a bit too soft for me, I like a very firm matress, but it was very comfortable according to my daughter :)

Fabulous location with amazing views. Property warm and cosy; bed comfortable; accomodation nicely furnished and with everything I needed to make a comfortable stay.

We were a little disappointed as there was an electric wood burner advertised on the website but it had been removed

Fantastic well equipped place . Very clean and comfortable the heating was brilliant on cold couple of days I was there . Beautiful view out of the window first thing in the morning . Location was great for my running and walking .

Shower pressure a bit low and not as hot as I like it, but definitely hot enough.

The facilities and accommodation was excellent, we particularly loved the comfy bed.

Everything! The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The hosts had thought of everything we could possibly have needed for our stay. The enormous bed was very comfortable.
