Edinburgh City Luxury Apartment Spectrum

The property was easy to access from City Center. It had all the furniture we needed and utensils in the kitchen.

The apartment had been closed for a while and felt a bit dusty. The security deposit return took a lot of time and follow ups to get the transfer.

Centrally located, very close to all amenities, especially the buses and trams. A stone throw to the city centre.

He was firm and rigid regarding deposit by Western Union and not offering alternatives

So close to the tram and city centre, the owner was so good and fixed the toilet straight away, while he was in he closed the window and put the heating on. Excellent host

There was nothing we didn’t like

It was nice and clean and provided with all facilities like hot water , microwave and fully functional kitchen.

We have to take out all our bins and dump it which host can manage it since we are not much aware about the place and came for holiday and felt a bit difficult to find bin store.

The location was very nice close to the tram.

You must send an extra £100 deposit by wire transfer after you book and send copy of I.D. They are not flexible with this at all and the apartment is in very rough condition. After we left they said my child had wet the couch and said we broke a drawer handle. We never saw the wet spot on the couch and my child said he did not wet the couch. The handle came off in my hand and I did not use the drawer at all, so our deposit was not refunded. It was very expensive and a headache to figure out how to wire money while traveling abroad and I’ve never had to do that before, despite traveling a lot throughout Europe and the Americas. Although the location of this apartment is good, dealing with this apartment manager was a headache.

The location and parking were the only good things. Would never have found key box on my own. Parking areawas closed so called host who clearly wasn't happy to be called.

No curtains or blinds in 2 bedrooms- in JUNE, smelled of musty old wet dusters, kitchen smelled of damp and fronts of drawers fell off, glasses were filthy - washed everything pre use, bedclothes are cheap polyester shiny and avoided the shower as we didn't want to touch it. Signs of repeat damage poorly mended - gauged walls, toilet roll holder hanging off etc

The property was nicely situated next to the high street so everything was available. The tram stop was about 7 minutes walk which was super nice. The parking was fine as well.

The whole complex looks a bit dated but once your are inside the property it’s nice
