Monterey Residence - Stunning, Duplex Apartment in the Heart of Kendal

Great location, very good price for the amount of space. The high chair was a great addition. It was lovely to stay in the centre of Kendal. Beds were very comfortable as was the sofa.

We were only there one night, so small quibbles (WiFi wasn't working, flat was a bit cold) could have been sorted by the host but it wasn't worth it for such a short stay. I'm sure the heating would have caught up if we had been there longer. However, the ring security cams all over the hall leading to the front door were off-putting/intrusive and that's why I only gave it 8 out of 10.

Lovely Apartment, clean with everything you need for your stay. Any correspondence with our host was helpful and all questions were answered so quickly.

Couple of watch outs for other customers - both of which were my lack of planning really! The steps up are quite steep for anyone who has trouble with steps. You also need to watch when you book as the price increases with extra people. But a great location and very polished flat!

The apartment is perfectly located for exploring Kendal and surrounding area. It was clean with plenty of space for 4 adults to share. Parking is within a couple minutes walk

Some of the facilities in the kitchen were broken and during our stay the smoke alarm started to buzz. We acknowledge this was through no fault of the hosts but it did mean going to bed with a smoke alarm beeping.

Parking couldn't fine a space in any of the car parks.

Good location

Key lock over complicated and malfunctioned leaving us locked out. Owners unavailable to help. If it wasn’t for cleaners coming in it would have been a disaster stranding all of our bags inside

The apartment was clean and tidy and had all the facilities that we needed. The living area was spacious, as was the bathroom. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable.

Not a complaint, but it’s worth noting that there are two sets of stairs leading up to the apartment, and the bedrooms are up another set of stairs, if you are carrying luggage.

The property was well located - just through a passageway to town centre. Same passageway opposite direction to car park. The property was spacious. and well equipped. We arrived following rain so our clothes were wet but excellent drying facilities. Especially liked the heated floor in the bathroom which was nice to walk on but also to lay out our sodden coats overnight - lovely and dry amd warm next morning. We were only staying overnight but it would have been fine for longer.

Seemed strange how the 2 beds in one room were so different in standard. A minor concern.
