Monterey Residence - Stunning, Duplex Apartment in the Heart of Kendal

Apartment was lovely and clean, brilliant location in the centre of town, brilliant communication from the host for checking in. Can not fault any part of our trip and its largely down to this Apartment. Would definitely stay here again without doubt.

At first glimpse on arrival the property seemed to be everything as advertised. After a long day of travelling and coming back from a family meal we were putting our children down to sleep only to find used condoms under the mattress while tucking in our little boy into bed. After being absolutely modified we checked other beds to find hairs and filth on the mattress protectors. After attempting to contact the owners, we have been completely ignored with absolutely zero compassion or customer service. After contacting booking.com we have been told to constantly contact the owner, who like I said isn’t answering! We have asked booking.com to relocate to an alternate location as we do not want our children sleeping in those beds. Booking.com have refused to help and only offered us 15% of the entire booking due to the owner denying the complaint. Due to the owner disrupting the complaint booking.com have said they can’t take it any further unless the owner agrees. We are absolutely shock with the high level or very poor service and we have had our short holiday completely ruined.

EVERYTHING!!! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY DEEMED IT ACCEPTABLE FOR US TO DEAL WITH FINDING USED CONDOMS UNDER THE MATTRESS OF THE BED INTENDED FOR OUR SON! WE WILL NEVER EVER BOOK USING BOOKING.COM AGAIN AND THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY AND BOOKING.COM SHOULD BE UTTERLY ASHAMED OF THEM SELFS.

The place was great and immaculate. Great space for all the family and the location is brilliant. Can't wait to book up again.

Stairs leading to the apartment are a bit steep with pram but that's being very critical. Apple maps didn't work too well on android phones but eventually found it, again being overly critical.

Not clean, paint work and walls very shabby. Dead flies and bugs in all rooms. In need of a spruce up

Very nice clean apartment. Everything we needed was there. Great location in the centre. Great value. Parking is only about 75 metres away on a public car park so not far to carry bags. Spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds. Slept very well.

Nothing. We had a brilliant stay. Suited our needs totally.
