Spacious apartment, at a nice location for our purposes.

The bathrooms were not as clean, with some black mould present. A lot of lightbulbs were either broken or plain missing.

This property had everything we needed and was incredibly spacious for just the two of us. The host was accessible 24/7 and it was in a great location opposite the river. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough (25min walk) to the city centre, this is for you. Additionally, local supermarkets and a couple of restaurants were around the corner.

Location and large rooms

Mould growing on bath panels and flooring, damp. I am asthmatic and problematic for me. Noise from neighbour above from 5am paving the floorboards and moving furniture?!?

3 bathrooms and comfortable beds.

There were dead cockroaches in the living room and 1 of the bathrooms. Moldy walls. No dishsoap or in fact any soap at all. The living room is basically a basement and windows must be shut practically at all times. Very noisy.

The apartment was clean, and spacious. The view from the bedrooms were amazing. Our host was available on WhatsApp, and quick to respond. I will definitely request this apartment for my next visit to Porto!

The apartment wasn't ready for us at 3 pm check in time. The cleaning crew had yet to prepare the bedrooms, and so we had to wait outside for about 20 minutes more. Our host did apologise for the inconvenience. The drain function on the bathtub was faulty, so our host had to send in a technician to drain the bath water. But the issue was quickly resolved.

It was very loud, neighbors were dancing, singing and jumping. Also we had to wait a little after start of check in time. The host didn’t provide us with the details on timely manner. We were standing in front of the doors with luggage, exhausted after a flight and were trying to receive the details. Our calls and messages were ignored. Some time later we received the details. But it’s not right to delay it, it should be received some time before estimated check-in time. And also there are cockroaches in the apartment.
