Host & Stay - Abbey Hus

The property is in a great location and is really modern and decorated beautifully with huge potential to be great.

It was really lacking with the cleaning, I’m not one to be super particular but I really felt that the place needs a really deep clean. I opened the washing machine one day and it was evident that it’s not been checked in months as there was a really really furry mouldy bath mat and something else that was growing mould on it too. The bathroom needs a deep clean as well. Overall I think cleaners need to spend more time checking things over and ensuring that the place is genuinely clean and ready for guests

The quality of the cutlery and only had two bath sheets and o r hand towel for the 10 days we were there.

Lovely apartment with modern decor and aesthetics. It’s a great location not too far from the town but not too close at the same time. We made great use of the appliances and everything provided worked perfectly and very convenient

Some of the utensils weren’t in best condition and the cleanliness could definitely be improved, the first fork we pulled out clearly hadn’t been cleaned

Stunning property, has all the amenities, insanely comfy bed, and a perfect location.

The room and facilities when you opened the bathroom door the light came on not goon when the other person is asleep

Location was lovely.

Heating did not work. No hot water which was meant to be on demand. No cutlery. Wardrobe couldn’t even fit a shirt in properly. Carpet was also rather dirty. Called the host twice in regards to the hot water, waited in a queue of 3 both times for 5 and 12 minutes each call only to be hung up on before I could even speak.

Check in too late. Check out too early. No knifes & forks. Bedroom window needs replacing it was windy on our second night unable to sleep because of the howling noise coming through it. Had to sleep on settee in living room.

Great location just a short walk from the harbour. Well decorated, clean and comfortable with plenty of space for the 2 of us and our little dog. View of the abbey from the big bay window.

I would prefer a slightly earlier check in time but understand this is down to the cleaning schedule.

Beautiful location and really nice flat

Advertised as having a free parking scratch card (confirmed by Charlie), I had to park 20 minutes walk away up a steep hill to find free parking. Normal parking in local car parks £12 a day. The shower also leaks onto the floor quite badly. The lack of hanging space was really annoying, i.e., nowhere to hang coats or towels and the rail in the wardrobe being too close to the rear of wardrobe so that the coat hangers don't fit in correctly

Location is great. Living room was nice with a good view.

Strong smell through the property. Stains on bedroom floor. Automatic bathroom light turned on several times during the night waking us up. Shower leaked over bathroom floor.
