"Weekend in Matlock"

Central Matlock, handy to everything. Well equipped kitchen. Having a separate bedroom for a change on a long trip. Ear plugs provided. Access to free parking close by.

Very central and opposite a karaoke bar and above a pub so weekend nights are noisy.

Super little apartment in a brilliant location. Clean, comfortable & good facilities. Would stay there again

Theres a strong smell from the restaurant downstairs. It wasn’t too noticeable in the apartment itself, but in the stairs and hall it was quite oppressive

"The room was far too noisy at night."

Good location in Matlock but see the comments about noise below.

Incredible noise both from the road and, especially, from the bar opposite. So noisy it was not possible to watch the tv. Saturday night is karaoke night until midnight so it finally quietened down at about 12:30. Noisy deliveries to the bars started at 5:45am. Closing the window does not help as it is only single glazed. Clearly a known issue as ear plugs are provided by the host on the bedside table! Broken bathroom fan and loose toilet seat mentioned in previous reviews have not been fixed and the flush on the toilet is not working properly. TV could only be used for Netflix. We could not get any other channels to work. Satellite box simple said 'not connected to satellite'. There was a set of instructions but it seemed to refer to a different model of TV.

"The bed is super comfortable!!"

Location was excellent, we hardly used the car. The place was clean & tidy, it had everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. This is the 3rd apartment I have stayed in, in this building and what an amazing apartment it was, we highly recommend it.

No major issues, apart from the bathroom fan didn’t appear to work, so may need replacing in the future.
