Spacious 3 bedrooms Cottage in Whalley

It was clean and big enough to be comfortable

Good had been left in fridge and freezer

The host was very accommodating, one of my friends had to check in super early with very little notice. He warned me the cleaners won’t have had been by but had no problem with her going in the house and leaving stuff there. The house was lovely and the second living room worked well as a bedroom.

Parking was a bit awkward, one of the friends that came has mobility issues so has a blue badge, meant we were able to park on double yellows but we would have had to park quite far away otherwise. There’s a small slope leading to the downstairs bathroom and garden which isn’t marked, a bit of a hazard but would only affect someone who is disabled or very clumsy like me. Last bed wasn’t made up but that was probably because we checked in too early meaning the cleaners were rushing -the host was very apologetic. Fresh bedding was in the cupboard so wasn’t really an issue.

Great location for us attending a family wedding. Check in very easy. Facilities great.

Great location and could be a great property.

The fridge was filthy and had a half used pack of butter and old end off a piece of cheese, food stuff in the cupboards, old disgusting sponge by the sink. There was a used hairbrush in the bedside drawer, clothes used to clean the bathroom were kept in the cabinet above the sink where u would keep your toiletries. Beds were poor, the one in the attic so bad my son and his partner slept on the sofas.

Great accommodation in a lovely setting. Very comfortable and a good night's sleep for everyone.

The house was in the in the centre of Whaley- easy to find.

The central heating wasn’t working when we arrived-so had to call the owner.It was fixed very quickly
