Birmingham City Centre City View Apartments Central very close to Bullring

Very unfriendly staff

15 minutes walk to Victoria Square. Full size kitchen, but didn't use it as only there for one night. Prompt meeting to collect the keys. The price is low for a 2 bed apartment.

Beds lumpy and uncomfortable. Bedding poor quality. Generally rather run down and grubby. Surprise deposit of £150 to 250 which wasn't mentioned in Booking.com OR on the welcoming email. Assuming I will get this back ? Location pretty run down area. An overly warm building. Noisy outside, so couldn't open the bedroom window. Hate to think what it would be like in higher temperatures. Public areas and corridors are dirty.

The property manager did not adhere to the agreed time for giving me the keys and did not hand them over at the agreed time of 2 pm, even though I had informed him two hours before my arrival.

The property is a very good location right in the heart of the city centre so perfect if you have a concert or shopping to do

The mattresses could do with updating and you are lying on a bed of springs

Property is in an excellent location to everything you need, shops, bars and restaurants. It's outside enough to not be noisy but close enough for walking avoiding commuting in the chaos of the Birmingham city centre traffic. The host was great, there to greet us with in a few minutes. Explained everything we needed to know about our stay.

There wasn't anything I could say as a negative. The apartment was clean and tidy. Communication with the host was good and the location is brilliant for wanting to be in the centre of Birmingham
